Friday Night Lights
The state of Texas is known for great barbecue and high school football. The local Clements high school is located in First Colony which is southwest of Houston. It's a nice place to raise a family.
But at Clements it's not about the football team. It's really about the award winning band. It's the best damm band in the area, bar none. And that young man with the trumpet and big smile is my grandson. He is a senior and hopes to attend college and study engineering.
